We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. The current version posted here always governs, and your continued use of the App means you accept it.

This Privacy Policy explains how nftstory ltd. ("we", "us"), based in Quebec, Canada and producer of the Time Lines app ("Time Lines", the "App"), handles information when you use the App and this website (together, the "Services").

1. The Short Version

  • Time Lines runs entirely on your device. It reads your calendar locally, draws it along the line you drew, and shows the result in the App and in home-screen widgets.
  • We do not collect, receive, transmit, or store any of your personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, no backend server, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind in the App.
  • Your calendar data and your drawings never leave your phone.

2. Information the App Accesses On Your Device

Calendar events. With your permission, the App uses Apple's EventKit framework to read the events in the calendars on your device. This access happens entirely on your device. The App uses event titles, start times, and calendar colors to place dots along your drawn line. Calendar data is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or anyone else.

Your drawings. The line you draw is stored on your device (in a shared container so the App and its widgets can both render it). It is never uploaded or transmitted.

That is the complete list. The App has no networking features and makes no network requests.

3. Permissions the App Requests

  • Calendar (Full Access): required to read your day's events and place them on your line. Reading happens on your device only.

You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings. If you deny calendar access, the App will still let you draw, but no event dots can be shown.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or process any personal information through the App. Specifically, the App contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no fingerprinting, and no third-party code that receives your data. We cannot see your calendar, your drawings, or anything else about your use of the App.

5. This Website

This website is a static informational site. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Like most internet services, the servers that host the site automatically receive standard technical information necessary to deliver pages, such as IP address and basic request information, which may appear in routine server logs kept by our hosting provider.

6. Apple

Standard Apple platform services (such as the App Store, iCloud device backups that may include app data, and iOS itself) are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. If your device backs up app data to iCloud, that backup is managed by Apple under your Apple Account settings.

7. Children

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is suitable for general audiences.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. All App data lives on your device: deleting the App deletes your drawing and all app data from your device. Your calendar events belong to the Calendar app and are unaffected.

9. Your Rights

Privacy laws such as Quebec's Law 25, PIPEDA, the GDPR, and the CCPA give you rights over personal information an organization holds about you. We hold none. If you believe we have somehow received personal information about you, contact us and we will address it promptly.
